1964 Pontiac GTO ( GTO Stands For: Gran Turismo Omologato), This is a rare Triple Black Convertible. 1964 was the first model year for Pontiac to manufacture the GTO. This iconic GTO has a 400 Cubic Inch 6.6 Liter Pontiac V8 Engine nicely optioned under the hood with a Tri Power engine featuring an induction system Pontiac had used on full size models since 1957. 3 2 Barrel Rochester Carburetors sit on top of a cast iron intake manifold each with it's own small chrome air filter. The engine runs off the center carburetor at idle and low speeds. When the gas pedal is stomped on, all three carburetors open together to boost the horsepower to 348. 4-speed Manual Transmission, Factory Tach, Power Black Convertible Top, This is one of only 6,644 Convertibles ordered with the GTO Package.
