1970 CHEVELLE SS 454 LS5 M22 4-SPEED DOCUMENTED FATHOM BLUE
This is a rare opportunity to own a true Icon and Rare Piece of history. ONLY 299 LS5’s was produced in Oshawa, and this is “One of 222” 4 speed cars. An Original documented Canadian LS5 M22 Four Speed Car with an Iron Clad Build Sheet provided by Vintage Vehicle Services of GM as well as the Canadian Specific Trim Tag with the Codes right on it!
We would consider this a Running and Driving Above Average Project Car. It needs attention all around including metal repair & paint and body. Car has been repainted may years back and shows it. Car has had the same owner since 1980. Or take the patina for what it is and enjoy.

Currently the car Does Not retain its original drive train. It has a 1970 CTX Code 396 with a CF code Turbo 400 Transmission and CCF 3.31 Posi Rear Axle. It runs and drives fine, has a good set of BFG 245/60/14 tires and Turns Heads Everywhere. Has a few extra parts that will go with the car.
The Body has been Painted Candy Apple Red Sometime in the 80’s by the past owner. The Mechanics of the car works well... Brakes, shifts, and runs down the road nice. Has working Head/Taillights as well as Windshield Wipers.
Interior is all there and driver quality. Headliner needs to be replaced.

In summary this is one of the most desirable Muscle Cars of ALL and with its rarity of even less produced than the Mighty LS6 car it makes for a great investment. Drive it as is or tear it down for a restoration in any case you will have a Very Special car worthy of its Legendary Name – the “SS 454”!
