The year 1973 would see a urethane nose due to the newly instigated, 5 mile an hour impact law by the government. This car retains the classic, iconic shapes, Hideaway headlights and other features that made the Corvette “America’s sports car.” A true classic in its own right. T-Tops. Interior - Saddle Tan. Leather. This car features beautiful, mock grain accents throughout the entire cockpit of the car, including on top of the console with a real leather shifter boot, the wood grain is on the hard plastic door panels, gauge cluster, etc. Deep plush, horizontal, stitched pads. High back bucket seats. A mix of a fighter pilot cockpit plus Luxury. Another important feature was that all the knobs, control buttons are within easy reach. 7000 RPM Tachometer. Wrapped sport steering wheel. Racing flag emblem with horsepower and torque on the gauge cluster face. The fiber, optic indicator lights were gone from the console in 1972, but the horn-connected alarm was now included in the base price. The big block in factory AC was a rare combination of options. Factory AC compressor and components. Oversized Power disc brakes on all 4 wheels. GM switched to the disc brakes in '65 and never looked back. Factory, correct rally wheels with chrome, beauty rings, and “Chevrolet Motor Corporation” caps. Raised “Cooper Cobra” white letter radial tires.
