1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS Tribute, 396 4-Speed, Forest Green

This 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS Tribute is a classic muscle car with the right look, sound, and feel that enthusiasts crave. Finished in striking Forest Green with nice paint, this Chevelle is set off by new black bucket seats with a center console, a sport steering wheel, and period-correct details throughout.

Under the hood sits a period-correct 396 Big Block V8 paired with a 4-speed manual transmission, backed by a set of headers and a great-sounding dual exhaust that really brings the car to life. The factory-style tach and gauges are in place, and the car rolls on 15-inch Cragar wheels with wider rear tires that give it the perfect stance. Power front disc brakes provide improved stopping power to match the performance.

This car is very presentable and a solid driver. The floors and trunk are clean overall, though as with many classic cars that have spent time up north, there are a couple of areas that show signs of its past. These spots don’t detract from the look or drivability of the vehicle today, but we do like to be transparent. We’re glad to go over those areas in detail with any serious buyer. The car is equipped with a 10-bolt rear end.

Currently, the car is undergoing a tune-up and some light reconditioning to ensure the next owner can enjoy it right away. There is a bit of smoke present, which we expect the tune-up will help address. The car can be purchased as-is or with further repairs depending on the buyer’s preference.
