1970 Chevrolet Chevelle Resto Mod, LS3/525, 4L60E, California Rust-Free Car

This 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle Resto Mod began life as a Malibu and comes with two factory build sheets confirming its original configuration. Originally a California car, it retains all of its original rust-free sheet metal and benefits from a high-quality build completed in October 2018.

Originally a 350 automatic with factory A/C, power steering, power brakes, bucket seats, and center console, this Chevelle has been transformed into a modern performance machine while retaining much of its classic character. It is powered by a GM Performance LS3/525 crate engine paired with a B&M 4L60E race transmission and backed by a 12-bolt posi rear end with 4.10 gears.

The build features modern upgrades including:

Dakota Digital gauges

Cold air intake system

Classic-style Bluetooth stereo with Sony amp, four speakers, and pre-wiring for future subwoofer upgrades

Alien Enclosure trunk kit

20x10 and 18x8 staggered wheels with Nitto performance tires

Inside, the car features 2006 GTO 6-way power front seats, while the remainder of the interior was restored with as many original components as possible, keeping a period-correct feel.

The exterior is finished in Daytona Sunrise Orange Metallic, a 2016 Corvette color that perfectly complements the Chevelle’s timeless lines. This car combines classic muscle car style with modern performance, reliability, and comfort ideal for both show and cruising.
