Under the hood, this Chevelle is equipped with a built 454 LS5 big block, bored .040" over and balanced to 462.55 CID. The engine, masterfully built in 2017 by Ken Belk, pushes an estimated 525–550 horsepower and delivers massive torque, thanks to a 4" stroke, forged pistons, and a Jet Performance Stage 3 Rochester Quadra-Jet 800 CFM carburetor tuned specifically for this setup. It features:

• Oval Port Cast Iron Cylinder Heads (110cc semi-open chamber)
• Peak Flow ~225 CFM
• 10.25:1 static compression / 7.92:1 dynamic compression

• ARP rod bolts and Lock Seal rocker arms
• Cast iron crankshaft
  
  Cooling is managed by a new thermal mechanical fan installed in 2021. Power is delivered through a Turbo 400 automatic transmission with a 2500 stall converter, paired with a custom heavy-duty 3" driveshaft installed by Trey Holley in November 2021.
  
  Posi-Traction rear end with 3.08 gears, new axles, and rear-end assembly also built by Ken Belk in 2017. Suspension and braking were updated in the same year with new shocks, springs, and brakes to ensure a confident and smooth ride.
